A free-standing, custom-designed structure houses the client’s prototypical layout and elements, addressing the specifics of planning and zoning restrictions imposed by its location on a busy commercial corridor and adjacent to a residential neighborhood. City’s requirement for downplaying and shielding the drive-through area is achieved by combining a panelized super façade attached to a covered canopy, shielding the team members working outside at the food pick-up area from the harsh Southern California sun.
